Not everybody celebrate x-mas in Buenos Aires
If you are one of those Christmas haters I have to ask you a couple of things:
Are you sure that the reason why you hate it is because some people say that is a celebration of the capitalism (more than a holy day) and not because you are alone and you don`t have family or friends to celebrate with?
Are you sure that you are not rebelling against your parents religion (I mean, it`s ok to do that, but not when you are older than 21...)?
If your answers were no, here is a different option (and in my opinion, even though they are trying to be bad boys, is just another way to celebrate)
"Massive burn of Christmas trees"
Yep, here, in Palermo (and I think that this is the first time) people will gather to burn trees.
The good thing is that luckily here we don`t use real trees.
The bad thing is that burning all those plastic trees will be a mayor contribution to the air pollution (and a bad show of what teenagers of 30 years old can do because of their meaningless lives)

jeje burning Christmas trees was another way of celebration, I havent seen it in Sweden so far, but Im sure it will come here some day, there are som christmas haters here also, they dont burn trees, but they show their hate against christmas by not buying presents...

Hi Matias, you are really reading my blog as you said. Cool.
Not buying presents show that their are cheapskates not that they hate christmas.
And the Buenos Aires x-mas haters are celebrating on dec 23, and you know whay? Cause they`ll be bussy on the 24 th evening eating the great meal that their mom made, or they`ll be at a x-mas party.
I love Christmas it's a bit strange for my here it's hard to get into the Christmas spirit when it's so hot I'm used to the dark and snow this time of year.

sofia; I`m organizing an anti 2007 demonstration. Basically consists in using the 2006 calendar for the next year and pretend nothing changed. Good ah!
