Sponsor My Life

So, I know that this is a strange world with endless possibilities. For some reason,
almost all the time my wishes come true at some point of my life, so I´m not afraid to wish.
I also know that there are a lot of crazy nice people out there wanting to help others (in this case, me) to make their dreams come true. So here is my list:

Note: If you are a capitalist who doesn´believe in human kindness see it this way: You enjoy my blog, and you can read for free, but you know that you enjoy things even more when you pay for them. So open you wallet, take your credit card, and enjoy my blog even more!!!

My wish-list

Good quality condoms from US

A plane ticket to NY

A piano

Peanut butter M&Ms

A 1953 Corvette (just like this one )

A monthly salary just because I exist

Surprises in nice packages

Presents that I don´t like but that I can leave in different places so someone else can find them

A house (a big one)

Books
My Amazon.com Wish List

A farm with lots of animals

Mmmmmmm, Is this all I want? I´m not that greedy, am I?

Who said Argentines don´t have an adventurous palate, PB and Dulce de Leche?

The funny thing is that if you were in the United States you could get that ice cream combination.

Hey, you have Milan Kundera on your list of wanted books on amazon :-)

I used to have an unhealthy kind of obsession with him and read all his books in a few months, so I'm going to bore you with some stuff about the two on your list now...

The Art of the Novel is probably his least enjoyable one. It's the kind of book that's only good to be seen reading when you wish to look like a cool intellectual.

However, Laughable Loves, on the other hand, is probably the most fun of them all. If I had a copy of it here in BA, I'd give it to you. But I don't.

However, if you want a copy of Farewell Waltz, which I do have here (and is the 2nd most fun Kundera book, in my uneducated opinion), then I would be happy to donate that to you so that I can enjoy reading your blog that little bit more.

PS - That is a very expensive and piano-shaped plane ticket to new york you've linked to there...

PS - When I say two, I of course mean three, in the same way that when I say donate, I of course mean lend (I can't count AND I am stingy)

Thank you Alan. But I have to try, sometimes novels in english are too complicated to read forme, but maybe Milan Kundera is not.

Hey Diva: Do you have a questionnaire to judge who is a cool client? I mean it could be Hannibal you are communicating with?
I'd love to take a tour with you. You show me best of Buenos Aires. Talk about its people- nay, bitch about them. Whine, gossip, complain. Show me the geniuses. The masters. The tramps and the bitches. Let me see how good you are.
Anyone can make a wish list. But how many can earn it?

Diva said...

mmmm, that sounds like a challenge. Well, I do not have a questionare to judge my clients, but someone who likes my blog is obviously at least sort-of-cool. And anybody who wants my tour is intelligent. I can bitch about almost anything, so if that´s what you want, i don´t even ned to take you on a tour, I sit you on a coffee store and charge by the hour of whining, gossiping and of course bitching.
best

Your blog is fun (here) but one does not need to come all the way to BA and (over there) for a coffee shop rant. I am a walker. I like to explore the city on my feet. I hate coffee and I do not like drinking anything except water. Tap water preferably. Millionaire habits.
I am the out bound flight today. 4 weeks in Antarctic and then 4 days in BA. I survive tomorrow without you but barely. So send me an email or phone contact and I'll call you.
I am metacause@youknowwhichemailisthebestonedotcom

actually I did get donations. There are a lot of generous people out there. And remember that all saying " everything you give will come back to you multiplied by 7"

hhmmm... thats pretty sweet. but why 7? I am usually an optimist but I have always considered it to be alot lower, maybe something like 2. 2 is still a pretty good number.

so are you still in argentina? are you still blogging? i assume you have been following the recent resistance to Christina´s economic policies? pretty crazy stuff.

Anyways, i am looking for people in buenos aires who want to write for a periodical that a friend and i are started. its in castillano. i have an invitation/explaination thing but its too long to post here. are you interested?
