Tourist vs. Locals II

At a bar in San Telmo the tourist would be trying to talk to the local people to make friends
The porteño would be trying to talk to friendly tourist to make him/her pay for his/her drink

The tourists often say that there are a lot of very nice parks in Buenos Aires
The porteños often say that the government should take better care of the parks (while they are throwing a can on the grass or leaving their dog mess as a souvenir for the rest of the park`s visitors)

Some tourists go to local concerts to listen to Argentinian Music
90% of the porteños don`t listen Argentinian Music

The tourist are often interested in porteño culture
The Porteños are often interested in a "cultural exchange" with tourists (if you know what I mean)
