Yesterday it rained like crazy
And the subways were not working at one point. And the streets were flooded. And the buses couldn't`t follow their usual routes. And I didn`t have any umbrella since I`ve lost it last Tuesday (or was it Monday? I don`t know it was the other day that it rained). Basically the streets were a complete mess.
In my house, a clock that I have in the kitchen suddenly stopped working. And at night the electricity run off.
It was like the end of the world yesterday.
I wonder if this happens in a lot of cities. I mean, if people go crazy just because some water is falling from the sky. It`s a natural thing, isn`t it? But in the streets of Buenos Aires is like a big chaos.
People carry their umbrella like if they were using a shield and a lethal weapon at the same time. This kind of people are usually 60 + year old short women; and their umbrella is in the exact level of your eyes.
On really rainy days like yesterday, people loose all their manners. They don`t care about anything, they just have one mission: I have to get to the office/hospital/home as dry as it can be. So you can see them marching in the streets with no fear to attack and destroy. And if you are walking without an umbrella they look at you as if you are the enemy: you are soaking wet, and you don`t have a problem with that; that`s enough to be beaten to death.
Some of the most undesirable specimens on the rainy days are:
-The drivers that drive fast and give you a free unwanted shower.
-The people that have an umbrella and still walk under the roofs, leaving no room for the ones that have no protection.
-The ones that are in a hurry and they push you into the water.
-The disgusting guys that still your taxi cab....
I don`t know, I`m feeling annoyed just by thinking about them.
Anyway, I like extreme days like yesterday cause nobody can lie about who they really are. It`s all in the surface. I`m a Diva, and no rain is going to stop that.

besos
