Someone posted the following review about my blog on Indextar
The world is neither black nor white
For someone who inspires to be a journalist/writer, her writing style is insipid and boring. The themes can be amusing, but she describes them in a way that is so deadpan it truly is a shame. For Diva all extranjeros who visit her city are rich, that 800 dollar ticket doesn´t just materialize. For Diva all porteños are assholes trying to screw you, or screw you over. I have a lot of issues with the persona she transmits, but I still read the blog.

The reviewer is obviously lacking a sense of humor. I for one, think you have the best BA blog going. Yours is a far better read than than 90% of english BA blogs -- better than the 50 something tango queen blogs, better than the gap year kiddies trying to find themselves, beats the I hate the US so I left blogs, or the....

Yo deje el review - no tengo miedo ni verguenza. La verdad es que leo tu blog y a veces me causa mucha gracia. A veces lo leo y no puedo creer las boludeces (si si, los Porteños son unos malcriados que creen que el mundo les debe algo, pero no quiere decir que todos son mala onda!). Se vea que hablas al turista estupido y no al viajero, entonces se entiende. Pero como dije.. el mundo es ni negro ni blanco. Seguramente que sos una persona diferente de lo que presentes en tu blog, como lo escribis para los que toman tus tours. Si creia en los "tours", quizas tomaré el tuyo, pero a mi me gusta mas el underground sucio de una ciudad, el lado que no quieren que veas, que el tipico. Y los dos les puedo encontrar sin pagar :)

Ah, una cosa que habia olvidado - tengo escritos en la web. Si queres verlos y darme una buena dosis de critica (porque querer ser escritor o jornalista es tambien aceptar que a unos no les gustan tus escritos, verdad?), te invito a hacerlo.

No dije que no me gustaba tu blog, solo dije que a veces tu tono molesta. Si no me gustaba, porque seguire leyendo? Encima.. este comentario no tiene nigun sentido, no soy traveller cool. Soy expatriada. Y, porque contestar en ingles cuando entiendo castellano?
Ahora leyendo el review, estaba un poco dura. Probablemente lo escribi en un momento que hace que todas chicas, porteñas o no, se ponen un poco histericas.
Im not sure what that guys problem is. Some people are just so rude. I enjoy your blog very much (even though I have never commented). You should check out this new travel site I found, baraaza.com. I think you will like it.
